the pain that is the nhs!
after 2yrs of struggling with the pain in my left side, and numerous visits to the g.p who originally diagnosed a hernia and sent me to a specialist, who said although i do have surgical lesions on my section scar thats not the cause of the pain. back to the g.p who said it must be gynecological possibly endometriosis. another specialist another trip to the hospital. on my second visit i was told i have polysistic ovaries but that wasn't the cause of the pain in my left side, the gynecologist said the pain is coming from my bowel, probably due to the paralytic illeus (bowel packing up temporarily), after my section with my son 15 years ago and i would have to go to a bowel specialist to find out whats going on. so now i've got to wait for yet another appointment with a different department. in the meantime i'm still in pain, but on the bright side that is why the mefenamic acid wasn't touching it!!

Geez! I know the frustration of trying to find a diagnosis. I hope that this next Dr. will pin it down. Could it be related to your back in any way? I hope it goes well, and quickly. Pain just robs a person of life!

son had a pain in (r)side- sick- fever and everything else- took him to the ER said he had the flu.-- 4 Dr visits in 5 days later dismissing him saying there\'s nothing wrong... Son says Dr there a lump here-- surprise -9 days in the hospital- big scar appendix puss pocket formed thats what kept him alive until the Dr finely listened to him- no apolige or anything. All because when he went to see the Dr in pain. HE DID NOT have a TEMPERATURE. Dr decided he was lying because you guessed it....from that time on- no matter how sick he is theres never a temperature...keep pushing for answers no matter what.... Were in our 10 year of the nar /cataplaxy thing.. .Had the nar marker test done missing more lab work still..Haven\'t pulled out all of my hair yet...but getting there.......Hay dock I think I broke my arm( bone sticking out). Heres a band aid for your hang nail for your finger... that will be a 2oo.oo visit.........
