The nights do suck.

n hate the night I try do read or watch a movie everything just reminds me that i'm alone. I clean my place and do laundry I try to stay busy to fill time but eventually everything is done and I am forced to just sit in the quite. I hate that my friends are all out with husbands or boyfriends. My older kids have their lives to live everyone just seems to be going on and i'm stuck here in no whereville. Still don't know where to start to move on from here. Everyone keeps telling me to stop being sad I just don't know how to do that.
Everything seems so final like this is going to be my life no better no worse just here. I don't sleep, eat or even dream anymore I just try to get through the day. I'm so tired of just trying to survive it makes me sick.

Yes, I know what you mean. I try so hard to stay busy. I constantly go out as my kids are older, but sooner or later, we all have to come home and face the loneliness. Thank God for DS.

Hi disneymom65. I empathize. The nights do indeed suck. I\'m a night owl--staying up to the wee hours of the night, especially on the weekend--and it sucks even more as there\'s no sunlight. Daytime and sunshine can bring up my mood a little.

This feeling is because you are still in Limbo and living in Limbo is HELL! If there is anything you can do to get this divorce over and done with, I guarantee you things will start to improve in your life! That and putting MORE RESPONSIBILITY on him for your son...MORE than just Sunday funday. You deserve time for yourself...that\'s one of the perks of divorce when there are children involved. It gives you a break....if you don\'t take advantage of it, you are enabling him to continue to live the \"single life\" with no real shared responsibility. Toughen up, my friend!
