The Night I met Him.

The night I met him.
It was late and dark
And I was feeling alone
I found a few people to talk to
I didn't want to leave
Because deep down I knew
We were walking
And talking
We saw a group surrounding someone
We went and checked it out
It was him
The moment I saw him
I had tears
I felt like lost my fears
He was talking to other fans
Then he looked over at me
At that moment, he was all I could see
It was then my turn to talk
I felt like I could barely walk
When i got up to him
I hugged him
He hugged me back
I looked up
And stepped back a little
He smiled
And then he spoke
Hey buddy, I remember you
He knew who I was
He knew
How are you? He spoke so kindly
What's wrong?
When he said those words, I felt like my voice was gone
Not so good, came out of my mouth.
He looked at me with sad eyes
I then looked down at the ground
I couldn't look into his eyes
I could no longer hold my disguise
I always feel like ending my life
I could barely look at him while saying those words
I looked down, all I could do was frown
His voice was concerned
But yet kind
"don't you ever think that again, or try that again, it'll be okay"
After those words, I didn't know what to say.
I just cried a little
He hugged me
I felt so free
Free of all my self hate
Of the feeling of being a mistake
Of all my worries
And sorrows
I felt safe
Just the way he hugged me
Was everything I thought it would be
It was almost as if he was protecting me
Just for those few minuets I had with him
Before he went back to the bus
I Thanked him
I told him he really helped me
He then looked at me
His eyes looked like they were lit up
And he smiled
Good, I'm glad it helped you.
The way he said it was sincere and caring
He hugged me one last time
Smiled and walked back to the bus.
I stood there in tears.
Not because I was sad
But because at that moment
He had saved my life
can't explain how I felt
When I close my eyes
I can still feel him hugging me, like it was yesterday.
The feeling of his arms around me
And that closeness
And just, just those moments of pure freedom from everything.
