The next step. Again.

I met with my RE this morning to see what our next step should be.  I was terrified that he was going to suggest we move on to IVF.  Not because I'm afraid of it, but I know we can not afford it.
They had me go into a room at the end of the hall that I didn't even know existed.  There was a table with four chairs, a TV, and a diagram of a woman's reproductive system.  Plastered ALL OVER the walls were pictures of babies.  Many of which were multiples of course.  The poster on the back of the door was about the steps of IVF.  I thought, "This is it.  He's going to suggest IVF.  We can't afford it right now.  Try not to cry."
When he walked into the room my first words were, "This isn't the room where you take women to tell them it's time to move to IVF is it?"  No.  He wasn't going to even suggest it.  He wants me to try Follistim with an IUI.
I am a teacher.  So I had no problem getting to my appointments last month for my ultrasounds and blood work.  However, I don't know what I am going to do when school starts.  On the schedule that my cycle is currently on, I would be going in for us/bw during the first and second weeks of school.  Not good.  The earliest I would be able to get to school would probably be 10:00 because I live so far from my RE's office.  The first few weeks are so important to establish routines and class rules.  (The only bonus is that I will have the same class as last year.  I am moving up with my kiddos to 3rd grade.  So they are familiar with my expectations, but I still feel this is an important time.)
I plan on talking to my husband about it when he gets home from work.  I will also speak to my school's principal about her opinion.  (I highly respect her.  She has been nothing but supportive during my struggle with IF.)  I don't want to neglect my students, but I don't want to miss my chance to start a family.
