The Move...SAD
Well I have moved out of my beautiful home. I now reside in a 3 bedroom condo that is one third the size of my home. This is going to be a MAJOR adjustment. I can't sleep here. I have been here a week and just don't sleep. Why??? How long will this adjustment take. I still have not ventured out to find grocery stores, bank etc. I am trying to be positive even though it doesn't sound like it from this entry. Sigh. Time I guess. Everyone tells me time. Time heals, time takes care of things. That is BULL! No it doesn't. It's been 18 months since my husband Brownie died and I'm still not dealing well with that. My daughter died Easter this year April 27th that is a nightmare. Now leaving my home of 30 years, sigh. I guess anyone reading this can tell I don't like change. Well I know others have problems as bad or worse then mine so I have to suck it up and try harder I guess. I wish you all well in your grief and loss and life. You are all so kind. I will be back soon for a update to let you know how I fair. I pray for you all. Hugs Linda

Sending some TLC your way. That\'s a lot to deal with. Hugs.
Sending prayers
Linda, one of the things I admire most about you, is that you don\'t let the world stand in your way...I have been trying to get out of our house for almost a year, but...all I can say is, that your resolve is alot stronger than mine, even in your darkest battles.
Not a doubt in my mind, that is why Debbie admires you, and why Brownie will always love you.
Linda, you have been through so much. You must be just so overwhelmed and exhausted. You\'re taken the right steps, and in time you will start to sleep better. After so many years in your home, it is going to take time to adjust to a new environment, but I truly believe in the long run you will come to see it was the right choice. My thoughts are with you as you strive to rebuild your life while dealing with not one, but two huge losses. Be patient with yourself, and do keep us updated. I think of you often.
Hugs to you, Lori
LINDA I am glad you are voicing how you feel here. Its one of those times it sounds you did not get a choice to do. And keeping it to yourself makes these times tougher. I feel for you.
Can you find one beautiful thing for your bedroom that is just you - a new quilt that you would have always loved to have but too girlish for a couple, a nice painting or photograph that gives a sense of peace, a nice rug or sitting chair Something truly signify that can signal a transition towards that step of this now new life. Someone suggested that to me, I changed furniture, repainted and got that quilt, did things that were only ME. I think it helped HUGS
