The image of rose that comes to the mind of most people is that of a hybrid tea rose. A hybrid tea rose often has a large blossom at the conclusion of a cane. The blooms of hybrid teas come in virtually all colors except blue and black.

Then there are the Miniature roses. These are roses that are smaller in bush, foliage and blossom size. The looms of the tiny flowers tend to lie in the product range of to 2 inches.

Mini-Floras are flowers that are too large to become miniatures but too small to become both a Hybrid Tea or perhaps a Floribunda. These usually are not fit for landscaping purposes. Autumn Splendor and cachet are two cases the roses that are included in this type.

Another sets of flowers that are worth a mention are the Old Garden Roses. These will be the roses that had been classified before 1867. These include the mosses and the gallicas.
