the morning after

Hi everyone, another birthday over and I'm doing ok. I went to Donna's last night and she had a cake and my grandchildren and DIL came by. They all gave me some gifts and I appreciate being remembered on my birthday and all of their thoughtfulness.
I came home and read all of the supportive comments and hugs and birthday wishes from all of you and it helped a lot. I did some crying but its ok. I know I must mourn my son on these days and its like my friend here at FMO Sarah, Andy's mom, said in her journal. Happy & sad, side by side.
My friend here at FMO, Lynn, Clinton's mom, reminded me to look for Ed and I did. I got a wink. A license plate in front of me had the year of my birth and the year of Ed's birth on it. Then I saw a plate that said "Ed" on it. Hi Ed!!
