The MC that would never end

First, thank you all for your support.  I don't think I could have gotten through the last couple of months without all my DS friends.  To be able to talk able all we go though with IF in an open and supportive way is great.
Well, I'm back at home resting for the next week after surgery.  Yes it was placental retention.  In a way I'm happy because it was the easiest and less dangerous options my RE had mentioned.  I still had a moment in the recovery room when she told me that it hit me.  I've been going through this mc for over 4 months now and got sad all over.
I had to stay longer in the recovery room so I only saw my RE when I just woke up and didn't get much except that it was placental retention.  My RE talked to DH in post op. when I wasn't there, but men, he didn't really ask any questions.
I know that she put in a new IUD for at least one month.  I must be the only girl TTC that has had 3 IUD put in in the last year : ) She also started me on estrace and provera for the next month but she said things went really well with the hysteroscopy.
I still have no clue for when I'll get to try again but I'm staying hopefull that when I see her in a month she'll give me the ok right away.
For a girl that has trouble with implantation I feel it really crazy that the placenta was hanging on so much but I guest it can also be a in line with the placenta acreata I had with my son. Guest I'll need to wait to see her.
I'm still not clear if I go for an us sound and IUD removal in a month or if she just wants to see me in her office.  When I called the clinic today they couldn't tell me yet cause my RE wasn't do back at the clinic for a week.  I'll email her later to see.  I'm still hopefull that she'll just let me go for my IUD removal and us.
Feeling positive today, plus the pain with the meds really isn't that bad, less than I expected.
Thanks again for all your positive thoughts, your prayers and your messages of support.  You have really given me the strengh I needed.
I think of you all the time.  Really still have chills that Aristen will be a mom to two in 2013, Yay ! Can't wait for Laurie's BFP next week, plus Deb I'm sure you will follow with IVF 5. Can't wait for all the rest of my DS friends that are in there cycle now to go to transfert and get your BFP.

So happy things went well. It\'s like my miscarriage, it just keeps on giving. Guess this is why you had the never ending beta as well. Hopefully this will all be a distant memory soon and you will be holding a new little baby! Xoxo

Oh Roxy. I can relate to so much of what we\'re going through. I cried after the second surgery thinking \"now my daughter is really gone\" then I had to have a third surgery and was less emotional with that. Also with your IUD while TTC - I have the same thoughts about sex. This RE wants to get me pregnant so bad she better let me do the deed instead of constantly putting me on pelvic rest. ;) Anyway glad you\'re doing well!

My heart goes out to you. Your so strong. Allow yourself to cry and let it all out. I am glad the surgery went well and hopeful that you\'ll be able to take the IUD out soon and try again. I know how hard the waiting can be. Sending you lot of love

I hope that this is finally the end of it! I\'ve never even heard of placental retention before, ugh, at least like you said, it was the \"best\" of the possible outcomes. Well, I am glad that it is almost over and hopefully you\'ll be able to starting TTC\'ing again soon. Thank you so much for the shout out....all of my DS friends are a lot more confident then I am! LOL. Hugs!
