The Latest
I know...I'm not horribly consistent at updating my journal. It's been pretty busy at work, though & that is a good thing.
I wish I had great news about my son's job, but the thing is that they haven't been giving him any hours, just saying, "We'll call you." Well, what does that mean? I wish I could say something, but this is his job, and I wouldn't do anything (other than advise) if this were happening to a friend. *sigh* I just wish they'd be up-front about their intentions. It's the right thing to do.
DD re-took the SAT & felt better about it afterwards, so hopefully her scores will be much better. We shall see! Meanwhile, she is finalizing things before applying for the colleges she's looking into. I'd say there's about 6 schools she's interested in. I have my favorites, but ultimately, it's probably going to come down to the bottom line ($).
The dog is still hanging in there. He has his good days and bad days.
I've been going to a women's bible study every week on Thessalonians. My good friend & a friend of hers are running it. It's a good group of ladies.
