The Last Place You Look

It sounds like a Bill Invall joke.  I don't know if I wrote about losing the key to the lawn mower the other day.  But man!  I was teraring the house apart looking for it!  I could have sworn I put it in the apron I wear when mowing.  It sounds silly, but it holds my bottle of water and my smokes.
I was so over heated the other day all I did was come inside and pull it over my head and throw it on the floor.  We usually leave the key in it.  But since I couldnt figure out why it wouldnt start and didnt have the energy to push it into the back yard, I left it on the side of the house.  And then I got all paranoid about someone stealing it.  So I took the key out.
I had been worried about it since I couldnt find it the next day.  I spent most of yesterday scouring the floors looking for it.  I even had some neighbors come over and help me look outside.
This morning I got the bright idea to look in my purse.  And lo and behold there it was.  Ahhhh I feel so much better.  Lynn is outside finishing the mowing for me.  I had most of it done.
The mower belongs to one of my churches, but Pastor said we could keep it and use it at our house as long as we mow his yard and the church.  And believe me three lots is a big yard.  It is so much easier to use a riding lawn mower.
Whew!
