the ipod
I have finally mastered the ipod.......I have been downloading music all afternoon. I even found a guided meditation....can't wait to get i the hammock with that one. I am preparing myself for the flight out west, magazines can get a little boring so the tunes will help break up the monotony.
It was a frustrating morning, I drove all over the place looking for yoga blocks.....this city is such a joke when it comes to fitness if it is not golf or hockey then it doesn't exist. I finally found 2 but no straps, but then again I haven't found a place at home to practise yet anyway. I am thinking about the deck while it is still warm and then I don't know, I will have to make room somewhere where there is no celing fan and adequate floor space (yeah right).
Hubs and I are going for a motorcycle ride tonight to deliver a quote and maybe stop in and see some friends and see their new puppies.
I did manage to spend a little time in the hammock today....without the dog this time, I am really looking forward to doing the meditation next time.
Off to the respiratory doc tomorrow, here's hoping for some good news about the pred reduction and getting off the cyclophosphimide and maybe getting my waist and my hair back....LOL one or the other would be nice anyway.
We have a poker run on Sat. it is our chapter's anniversary ride with a steak bbq at the end, the weather looks like it is going to be nice.

I so hope the doc has good news for you! I am heading for the doc\'s tomorrow too! And I too would like to get my waist back and hair would be nice. I have some but it is very thin and doesn\'t grow hardly at all.
I love my ipod too! I used to carry mine everywhere. I have an IpodTouch and I download the podcasts, they are really wonderful. So much info out there for things that you can listen. I love NPR\'s short stories. That\'s just one , there are so many. Unfortunately , I let my son borrow it and lost a lot of the data I had on there.
I\'m going to hunt for a hammock online. The only ones I have seen around here have the frame.
PUPPIES!!! I love puppies!! Enjoy your ride tonight. And Saturday too! And I will keep all my crossibles crossed that the weather will stay beautiful for ya\'ll to enjoy.
here in oz beth they are moving to ban biker groups, the nanny state is going nuts, no-one allowed to have freedom and noone challenging maybe there\'s a correllation there - give up the fight and people will run over the top of you.
i\'m regressing - my daughter uses my ipod more than i - she has her own but mine fits into speakers and she plays it loud when in the shower. regressing coz i have just purchased a digital radio and play old songs only.
puppies.
yoga
sons on the other side of the country. mine has moved back to melbourne but is reconsidering. hates the cold and thinks he should study next year and has too many distractions here. i shall have yum cha with him tomorrow. number one is 23 and still i think of him as my baby in many ways. two years is too long. two years is how long he went away (to cairns in queensland). he grew up big time - 21 - 23 is from a boy to a man. i am so proud of him, so blessed to have two wonderful kids.
have a great weekend
Try online for the Yoga stuff you need. I\'m totally jealous. I have not ridden in way too many years. I find it so soothing and relaxing. I can just go inside my head sometimes and get a ghost of what it felt like. Tossing the bike through corners wind rushing by jeans and leather, the views.
My hair is getting thin as well. I used to have so much that the baby fine didn\'t matter. Now I find myself looking for hair accessories that lift it and make it look like more. With the sweating I do, I too have considered shaving it, but mine is not to that point.
