The Imperial competition

So here I am, after not being on here for 2 weeks and I have another update. I have just finished a national competition and an international shooting competition, big stuff. I did badly in the national comp and did averagely in the international comp. It is really difficult, especially when up against international level athletes, albeit not so athletic as they spend their whole time on their stomach when they participate in the most intensive of sports, target shooting. Anyway it is all surprisingly tiring and now I'm knackered. That is just about what has happened in the past two weeks so, yeah, I feel really interesting right now.    Anyway a few musings, 1st it is true that when you die your whole life flashes in front of your eyes. It has a name too, it's called living. I thought it was funny and yes, it was meant as a joke.    Also on a more serious note. The question of 'what is the purpose of life?' and 'what is the meaning of life?' I bring another question to the field. Why does it need a meaning or a purpose? Not every action has a meaning and a purpose. If we acknowledge that everything has a meaning and purpose we must the answer the questions of why other things happen. Why do good things happen to bad people and why do bad things happen to good people? Why are there children with cancer while there are rich people with goldfish awareness who don't care about anyone else. If you can answer that then you can answer the former question. How can you answer it, that there is karma and they deserve it? What kind of person says that? No, not only do we avoid other difficult questions, we avoid alienating people by creating religion and we avoid looking like monsters by just asking 'why should it matter?'. There is my two cents, best of all, it's free.    Bye for now, it's sleep time for me
