The Hole....

The  whole thing is completely difficult to  put into words.
One year has come and gone in such a rush, it seems it was just a fleeting moment... Wow... 2011  already... geesh...
So this new year it starts off with a shower... oh yeah.  I really need a shower.  It is difficult for a person my size to function at normal things.. like bathin... walkin... standin... combine that with a very narrow fiberglas tub shower combo... hahaha... and you  got.. shower curtian cling...  Oh yeah.. most wonderful time of the day... trying to shower with a plastic curtain clingin to ya hinny...
Oh my... well thanks to the modern world technology... they have shower chairs... so hey... I have had one for several years...
Oh well... with a little help from the lumber yard.. I have the curtain cling undercontrol... not so my weight... and well it is so nice to sit, let the warm water rinses some of your pain away...being clean give you the feeling of a fresh start. 
With out too much detail... all sudds up and hummin... (okay so son says I shouldn't sing in da shower...)  someting about it hurts his ears... so I hummmm... do da do  da...
I was working them under arms over real good too.. gettin relaxed... unstressin... hummin hahahaha.. and suddenly, with out warning... Oh golly gee... I get this sinking feeling..  Oh dang...( yeah double dang)  .... my chair takes a serious list to the right... hey ... is my tub sinkin.. what da....????...!!!........
So even tho I have several disabilities... this unit isn't  set up for any handycaps.. no bars to grab when ya  tubb starts listin to the port side.. hey who knew..rite..?..
with the speed of a freaked out old fat man... I  struggle to a standing ... in shock.. I see... My chair.. has punched a hole in the fiberglass tub..  dang looky that... this is amazing... now I know why this tub has a crack next near the drain... it's so thin.. cheap isn't gonna describe the value of this tub...
So I bang on the wall... (help me... somebody save.. me..!) and my son... peeks in the door... you rang...? he kid help me out here... get that chair and find the duct tape..
DUCT TAPE...???
yeah... you know.. duct tape...?
WHY..?
Gosh boy, this aint twenty questions... just help me out here...

so you ever try to patch a hole in a tub... with duct tape..ya should try it sometime... hahahaha... well boy didn't find no duct tape.. but he found some package tape...like ya use for mailin them christmas presents off... nice and wide like duct tape.. but ya can see thru it.. lol.. yepp scotts tape brand too...
with a difficult amount of struggle.. I manage to dry that whole dang hole... and plastered about ten pieces of tape over the  nice little 3/4 inch hole the chair poke in the tub.. now at least I can rinse off without flooding the intire bathroom floor...
So the moral of this story is.. I'm not looking forward to reporting to the housing authority they gotta replace my tub... reckon I'll patch it myself.. and see if  when spring gets here I can get a shower installed.. ...
something with a cement bottom that wont give out under pressure ....
that is the Whole ...hole story... gonna see how long this patch will  hold up.. hahahaha..
Hey at least the new year started off with a snap crackle..drop... hahaha..
