The Hidden Mage Wiki
The hidden mage wiki is an extensive source of information on all things related to the hidden mages of the Forgotten Realms. It contains a vast range of content, from spells to weapons and armor, as well as skills.
The hidden mages of the Forgotten Realms are those who have awakened to the power of magic. They live in the Supernal realm, but are hampered by the Abyss that separates this world from the Fallen World.
Spells
The hidden mage is home to some of the more impressive magic tricks, not the least of which is the ability to teleport yourself and your party members to friendly capital cities. These nifty little gems are available to mages of all levels and require nothing more than a reagent or two, which you can acquire for free on a regular basis from the local magic shop.
The mage is also home to a slew of other interesting magic spells and a slew of other trinkets, such as the tome of polymorph. Unlike their kin the wizards of the realms, these spells are more functional than decorative, and are well worth your time. The aforementioned tome is the top gizmo of the bunch, albeit in a non-scary guise.
The mage was not only the most fun to play, it is the most enjoyable to behold. It also stands out as the most memorable and rewarding experience, thanks to its many nooks and crannies. The secret to making it last long enough to see you through all the dungeons and dragons in your path is the right mindset and a bit of luck.
Weapons
Weapons are a crucial part of any hidden mage's arsenal. They range from basic melee weapons like the fist to high-powered weapons like the chainsaw. Many are capable of causing large amounts of damage, while others are great against crowds.
Some of them have special properties that help in combat. Some are also good at causing a debuff on a target, or can be used to cast magic.
First, there are the weapons that have the most damage. These include the fist, pistol, and shotgun. These are the most popular and can be found in shops, but they are not recommended unless a player is willing to spend more money.
Second, there are the weapons that have a specialized spell attached. These are a good choice if the player is not comfortable casting spells in battle, or if they want to be able to cast their abilities as quickly as possible.
Third, there are the weapons that are best suited to specific classes. For example, the thief has only a few good weapons available before her class change. A rapier is one of these, along with the coral sword and rune blade; the wyrmblade is the other.
Fourth, there are the weapons that are most effective against certain types of enemies. For example, the Excalibur is an excellent weapon against ice and fire monsters.
The black wizard has a better selection of weapons than the white; however, they are not very good fighters, and should be used in conjunction with spells. The black wizard's best weapon is the knife. The mythril (silver) knife and catclaw are not worth the cost, as the black wizard is a poor fighter even with those.
Armor
Armor is an important part of a hidden mage's gear, it provides protection and passive bonuses to several stats. Its stats are based on a Tier system, each tier providing incrementally better stats.
The main stats that armor can provide are health, defense, energy and attack power. These can be used to mitigate creature damage and provide an increased damage output for certain weapons or skills. Onion links.
There are three main types of armor in hidden mage, each offering different advantages for weapon and skill use. Melee armor focuses on health, while firearms, staves and wands can all benefit from an improved attack power bonus.
Aside from these, there are some specialty armor pieces for mages that offer specific abilities or mana boosts. These can make life a little easier as a hidden mage.
One such set is the Azur's Glintstone Set, a piece of gear that is a status symbol and part of Sellen's questline. This armor has a buff that increases the damage of Magic dealing ashes of war on certain weapons and skills, such as Ice Spear or the Horn Bow's magic beam ability.
Another notable armor is Lusat's Set, which provides the highest magic damage negation of any mage-type set in the game. This is a good choice for PvP duels since it also grants a passive buff to Lusat's signature spell Stars of Ruin.
Skills
Skills are the abilities a mage can use in-game. They are divided into Combat spells, Teleport spells and Skilling spells. Each has its own menu and requires a certain level to unlock. However, most of them are unlocked automatically after reaching a certain skill level.
Unlike other classes, mages are not forced to focus on a single stat. They can choose from a wide variety of skills, which they gain in different ways. They also have access to several specializations that improve their use of certain attunement skills and traits.
Elementalist: A unique class, the elementalist can cast spells that depend on their attunement (e.g. Fire, Storm, Earth). These skills have effects on the surroundings and may also create auras that deal damage to surrounding enemies.
This class can also conjure ephemeral potent weapons for one ally to use in combat, as well as other items that provide passive effects while they are equipped and then deactivate when the item recharges. The class can also access a special weapon, the transmute staff, that allows them to cast area effect spells with direct or lasting effects.
