Absolutely true. Some of the unhappiest people I met in my life were those who just needed to acquire more and more STUFF. But it didn\'t help their fundamental issue: the inability to LOVE.
i agree living water. one of my ex\'s cared only about money and acquiring money, including through stealing. he is STILL like this. he has no understanding at all of the bigger things in life. i am a huge fan of karl marx and socialism and even a one wage philosophy, as in if allll jobs pay the same amount and all the bigger things in life are free like they are in scandinavia, people are HAPPY in scandinavia and canada because the materialistic crap isn\'t part of the equation really. materialistic people are generally hypocrites and actors, you can\'t trust anything about them. they are allll the evil things written about in the bible.
