"The Guest House"

Read this in my group last night and thought I would share...Love it!

"The Guest House" by Rumi  Every morning a new arrival.
A joy, a depression, a meanness, some momentary awareness comesas an unexpected visitor.
Welcome and entertain them all!Even if they're a crowd of sorrows, who violently sweep your houseempty of its furniture, still, treat each guest honorably. He may be clearing you outfor some new delight.
The dark thought, the shame, the malice, meet them at the door laughing, and invite them in.
Be grateful for whoever comes, because each has been sentas a guide from beyond.

Reflect on the seriousness of every automatic thought, very few are serious enough to demand attention or mood swings. Remain centered. Let them pass as guides to help point the way to a new delight. To judge them as probable menaces may be a mistake of being an unenlightened human.

Trust the Positive Love.

I love this Vicki. I love Rumi but generally find it difficult to read. This is perfect!

I love it too! It\'s on my screensaver....It reminds me daily to be non-resistant and not label! And, I NEED THAT REMINDER!
