The girl didn't come home from school today
She has always come straight home or texted me to let me know where she is going to be
but not today.
Today she decided to stop at a friends house and didn't let me know and won't respond to my messages. I don't know when she's coming home or if she needs a ride. I don't know whether to make dinner or not.
I can't help but feel that this is a response to the tension that has been between us and the fight that we had the other day. I want her to have friends and be happy, but I need to know where she is and she has always let me know - I need to know what she is doing and she has always let me know. It is too soon to just let her go to this degree - that sort of thing needs to be done in stages (for her safety) and I am really unsure of why she is doing this.
I'm not having a good time here. It is dark, and I know that she is in a house with a friend from school somewhere about a mile from here, but I can't even go and get her because there are alot of houses where she described, and I don't know which one it is.
I hate my life. My family just stinks. Nobody actually cares about me, my feelings and certainly not my needs. They have no respect for me.
I want to change my life but it is so all encompassing.
I told the girl that if she didn't want to live with me so badly that she felt it necessary to treat me as badly as she has been for the last few weeks that I would make the phone call and have social services find a group home for her. She hates me for it, but I was serious. The foul things that she has been saying to me and calling me are really a bad sign.
I know that she's been unhappy and I had hoped that the move would help - but on some levels she still hates me for her happiness level and is still unhappy. She is unhappy with me - and my big shot daughter, who she visited over the weekend, was surely no help, as she has money and a very low opinion of me.
Who would think that that one would be so judgemental when she grew up? After the things she put me through, things that I accepted that she did. Good Grief!
I am very unhappy right now.

It was not much past 6:00 when she came and she came in with an attitude - apparently, she was thrown off the bus today and walked home with some friends and went to their house and played games and watched tv. All ok, I just wanted to know where she was and with whom and about when she would be coming home. It took nearly an hour to get her to sit down and talk to me like a person. What a chip on her shoulder! Apparently, she has volunteered me to drive hr to school and pick up some friends about 3 times a week. I was kind of counting on the bus, because it is free (included) but it doesn\'t take long to walk there - it really isn\'t that far, and she\'ll gain more friends and get more excercise if she does that so I am okay with that. I just want to know what she\'s up to and that she\'s alright, but getting her to understand that, let alone that it is my responsibility to do this, was pretty difficult.
