The Funeral Today
The funeral was at 11 am today. It was standing room only. Many were family. I preached from Mark Chpt. 10 where Jesus took the little children up in His arms and blessed them. I spoke about grieving and about knowing where Addison is. I then stated that preparations need to be made to join her some day. I closed the service with the words to the song "Jesus has a Rocking Chair. The Chorus I read was as follows.
"Jesus has a rocking chair ane He holds that precious baby
With Oh, such precious care
Don't worry about the Children there
Jesus has a rocking chair."
I did alright until the last verse and then I broke down.
Many people came to me and said that they had never heard a service like that. One lady said many of the family are talking, you touched so many hearts with your message.
All I have ever desired, since I have been a Christian, is to be a blessing to someone, every day. I am nobody special, I am just me, a simple man with a genuine love for people. Today, I believe Jesus was glorified, in spite of the sadness of the situation, and I was blessed beyond anything I deserve.

I have to disagree with you saying that you\'re nobody special and I know that God would as well. God knows the world needs more people like you Pee Wee.
I can only imagine how hard the service was to do and to get through but I knew that you would do a beautiful job and that you would touch everyone who heard your words. You once said to me that sometimes you wonder why God chose YOU to do what you do.. and I told you what I will tell you again. God doesn\'t make mistakes. You are a blessing to more people than you can really ever know. I know for sure that Jesus was glorified. You are a wonderful person and a Blessing to me.
