The Four H's and Two F's

Thanksgiving is tomorrow, and I've been running around town picking up my  baked pies from Marie Callendar's and the rolls from Polly's Pies.  I'm very good at heating things in the microwave, but doing the turkey is my single accomplishment each Thanksgiving.
As the holidays approach, I am reminded this year, as never before, about the four H's and the two F's.
This year I am reminded as never before of the wonders of Health, Happiness, Hope, and Hair.  Women always worry about hair until they don't have any.  After they get it back, there is no such thing as a "bad hair day."
If you're a student, two F's can't be good.  When you're young, if you get to F's, you think the world is ending.  As you age, the two F's become the things that really count--Family and Friends.
May all of you enjoy the two F's and 4 H's now and throughout the coming year. Thappy Thanksgiving to everyone.  Diane

Hi Diane,
I LOV E the 4 H\'s and 2 F\'s!!! Thank you so much for posting it - a great reminder.
The comment about hair reminded me of a book a friend gave me just before I started chemo, called \"Every Day with Hair is a Good Hair Day\" and it\'s written, with a lot of humor and honesty, about all the finer, human, sometimes odd details of dealing with cancer and treatment. Lots of wisdom in that little book, amidst the giggles. Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family! LuEllen

Thanks so much for telling me about the book. I have a sister-in-law who was just diagnosed with cancer, so I think I\'ll try to find the book and send it to her.

Happy Holidays to you and your family! Diane
