The "first year" alone.

In a couple of days, it will be the anniversary of Chuck passing.  It's an emotional time, thinking back to how ill he was before passing.  I miss him so much every day, but I wouldn't him here one more day being so ill.  My family, friends, and neighbors tell me that I have make alot of progress the past year.  That may true..at least I don't cry as much.  I think that I have an acceptance that I'm in this alone for the "long haul" now.
I had surgery a little a week ago...having my gallbladder removed.  I'm recovered from that and will go back to work on Monday.  I'm thankful that the health issue wasn't more than that.  The worst part was going through all of it alone.
So, I'm trying to look forward.  Looking backward in just too painful.  I will try to get "back on track" with the losing weight issue and doing more exercise.  I have a mountain of house repairs and improvements needing to be done.  Warmer days are in the future, which is good, to be able to be outside.
