The \"F\" Word

I'm not afraid to say it anymore, that "F" word society finds so averse. Fuck it, I'm saying it... I AM A FEMINIST!!! I am a feminist becauseI am a womanI am tiredI am consciousI see the injustice I am a feminist because I believe my sexuality is no one else's business.I am a feminist because I believe that I am a valuable asset to society and I should be remunerated for my work equally with men.I am a feminist because I believe that I should be able to have a career AND a family and that that's only possible when we eliminate "gender roles" in the home.I am a feminist because I believe that men have ruled the world for long enough and fucked things up enough.I am a feminist because I believe that women have the human right to walk down the street, where and when they want, go where ever they want with whoever they want, and not have to worry about being raped.I am a feminist because I believe that men and women are equal. That we both have valuable perspectives to bring to the table. That this world would be a much better place if women were consulted the same as men.I am a feminist because I am a human being with inherent value, with loads of potential that is screaming to be realized and I am living in a world where I am not valued according to my worth, I have a harder time than male peers reaching my potential, and I am living in a world where men make all the decisions.I am a feminist because I can't help but be a feminist. I am a woman. I am human.
