The girl was in the hospital from Jan 2 to 9, then 3 weeks in the "safequest" program.
They prescribed medication that is dangerous to withdraw from, dangerous to be on, and getting the medication has been made impossible.
I have a week's worth of medication left, and they want me to wait until next Wednesday to see the girl at the hospital before they will refill the prescription. As it has been taking more than a week to get the prescription from them when they order it, I cannot afford to wait until then.
If I wait the week, she will have only about a day's worth of meds left, and I will no longer have the option of weaning her off it. It will be a month before the Center will set her up with an appointment with a doctor, and her PCP won't issue the script either.
I could start weaning her off now, safely, but I cannot afford to wait. I don't know what to do.
