The Elves Have Been Busy!

Just a quick note to accompany all the new photos I just posted. Yesterday (Nov. 13) Lisa came over to help me dress and undress the dolls for their 2013 Fall Fashion photoshoot. Talk about tedious...AND we had to keep removing Woody Cat from the staging area.
Anyway, I wanted to get these posted so you all could see what I've been up to in my spare time. Not finished yet...back to the cutting board today...it's almost like an addiction. Still no word from my retail outlet in Maryland, but I'm afraid if she waits too long to get back with me, everything will be sold. I have two people right here in Naples who have expressed interest and may put some up on Etsey.com as well.
Nice weather still here, folks. Overnight lows in the mid-60's and low-80's during the day. Nice Gulf breezes blowing, too. It's ALL GOOD!
So that's it until the next intallment of My New Life in Naples! xoxox

I can understand how this activity could become addictive. To be creative at such a project would be a wonderful joy.

I\'m also happy for you -- and proud of you with your determination, it always inspires me.

Kathi, you are so talented!!
I have tried my hand at making dolls clothes in the past and they are so fiddly because of the small size - so I am in awe of your beautiful handiwork. They are amazing!!!
I am not surprised you are going to have people wanting to snap them up.

How cute! You should open a Etsy Shop. I just read a blog about selling on Etsy as to Ebay. New hand crafted, and anything over 20 years old, vintage can be sold on Etsy. Things that could bid up, more Ebay. The listing fees are 20 cents for a couple of months and no bidding, no auctions, you set the price! Simple to do postage too. When I started out Etsy they did not have vintage, but many people selling some beautiful things they made! I bought some Etsy hand made patterns for things to make, my boiled wool mittens to sew, the pattern came from Etsy. You certainly qualify..with the beautiful, and the blog person said just keep it simple, a white background and DO IT! She is only selling things she finds thrifting, she said she learned to just list the stuff and not wait until she builds a beautiful shop! I saw the cutest American Girl sewn little sheets, pillow cases and fleece blankets! Way to go CGK.. ((HUGS))
