The drama continues

Well, 3 weeks of "Great" "Awesome" was a very good thing indeed.  And this weekend started out a real winner.  The weather was so dreary and rainy for so long and it was depressing.  And cold.  But yesterday was sunny and beautiful and somewhere close to 70.  Took the dog for a small walk.  Watched a couple of movies over the weekend while cooking and cleaning (Prince of Egypt, Monster In Law and one other I forgot.)  Even got some motivation yesterday and cleaned all of the outside windows.  (And that is a real job.  Fell in love with this house because of huge windows.)  I had bought this 20 ft extend a pole window cleaner with squeegee from Home Depot and this commercial concentrated window cleaner solution.  There is NO way I could clean these windows any other way.  Anyway, the day was going great.  Made homemade meatballs and spaghetti for dinner.  Oh yeah, the other movie was Two Bits and Pepper and David watched it with me while I cooked dinner.   David hangs out with this friend of his, Nick.  Nick is a bad influence.  Not because he is a bad kid, but because he is allowed to do a lot of things David is not allowed to do.  So David just DOES stuff without asking, like walking to the pizza place and crossing the major highway with Nick and telling me after the fact.  Almost like bragging about it.  He is going to do whatever he wants.  So this weekend there were some issues with this.  He broke his boombox, so he took mine without asking.  He lost his Nintendo DS charger so he took mine without asking.  He wanted to build a skateboard ramp and I told him to ask his father's permission to use the scrap wood.  He and Nick built it anyway without asking.  Stupid stuff.  Anyway, long story short, David got in one of his "I want what I want" moods last night and we were telling him to go to bed and he flipped out and punched the refrigerator door.  Then, he flips out screaming the "F" word and a whole bunch of other obscenities that he broke his "F ing" hand and demanded we take him to the hospital.  I did slap him for the cursing.  Anyway, Paul took him to the hospital this AM and yep, hairline fracture and in a cast for 4 weeks.   Paul is at his "I have had it" point.  David dropped his cell project in the car by accident on the way to school and it smashed.  He put a lot of work into it.  So that did not help either.  It is due tomorrow.  Hopefully they can glue it all back together tonight.   And I am really off track with my diet and exercise.  And TOM is hitting me any minute.  I was so fatigued last week.  So I will try to get back on track today.  Work isn't bad.  Things slowed down, finally!  Thank God!  And boss got me some help.  So I was fairly productive last week and it felt good.  Praying things stay this way for a little longer.   Oh well.  Guess we will have something to talk about at counseling tomorrow.  Paul says "I can't have a job because I have to spend too much time dealing with David and taking him to Drs all the time."  So it is a little frustrating here.  Paul is still trying to get the appointment with a psychologist.  Now he says "I won't be happy until I am dead."  At least I have the dog.  She was out in the yard with Paul all afternoon yesterday hanging out with him while he planted flowers.  It was SO cute.  She is keeping me company today while I work.
