The Days Ahead...
In response to a couple of D.S. friends who have asked questions on end-time prophesy as it relates to the present days, I hope the following will serve to be a blessing. First of all, always ask God Our Lord to provide you with His Understanding and Guidance!Lets continue with this scripture as our basis for this topic:Revelation 19:10"And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.""For the testimony of Jesus (Yeshua) is the spirit of prophecy"... God does reveal His secrets to His Prophets, as stated in Amos 3:7, "Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets." Questions & AnswersWill God judge the U.S.? Yes, reason... the U.S. was formed out a covenant with God called the Mayflower Compact, it was patterned in concept to how the nation of Israel was to follow God's ways in order to obtain a promised land... there is the blessing of the U.S. Nation that while it committed itself to God it prospered, and it also served to be of help to the Jewish State of Israel which is a source of blessing as well. As the U.S. has departed from the commandments of God, it's sin separates from God and "pollutes the land" especially when the leadership and government officials turn such behaviors into law, that's what happened to Sodom & Gomorra. When evil becomes the law of the land and not God, then there is judgement. Is Obama the Anti-Christ? The best answer and most prudent one is to do exactly as Our Lord said, to keep "Watch", are there indications that Obama COULD be the Anti-Christ... YES in several aspects. Unlike any other previous President, Obama is steerring this country away from the Christian heritage on which it was founded upon, while making comments in his speech in Turkey that the U.S. is no longer considered a Christian, Jewish, Muslim nation, but instead is a country of common values and principals. Obama reluctantly signed the proclamation for National Day of Prayer (May 2009) and refused to hold the customary service that morning. Interestingly, during the Cairo speech, he spoke of the efforts his administration is making to bring about an alliance with the Muslim World, identifying himself to some degree with them thru his life experience. While Islam acknowledges a prophet by the name of Jesus, also called Isa, there are sufficient distortions added to their version to be able to say that they are not the same as Jesus the Christ, the Messiah. Islam believes it to be blasphemy to say that allah had a son (allah, their counterpart to Our God, YaHWeH), by such perspective that would make their view oppose the christian Jesus, therefore being Anti-Christ. Obama's perspectives are of concern, stating that he is christian yet opposes judeo-christian principals as shown by some of his views on abortion, gay MARRIAGE, and actually christian beliefs (controversy over Matthew 24 & other scriptures). These actions do not honor the God of the fathers of the faith (Abraham, Isaac, Jacob). Even with Obama's sympathy towards Islam, his actions are contrary to their principals as well, same internal national policies as stated with the christian issues, therefore not honoring the alledged fathers of that faith either (Abraham, Ishmael, Mohammad). With his change of direction from the founding fathers of this nation (Washington, Lincoln, etc.) he again is not honoring the God of the founding fathers of the U.S. This brings a particular scripture to mind, Daniel 11:37-38 "Neither shall he regard the God of his fathers, nor the desire of women, nor regard any god: for he shall magnify himself above all. But in his estate shall he honour the God of forces: and a god whom his fathers knew not shall he honour with gold, and silver, and with precious stones, and pleasant things." Now it is important to point out at this time that he has made references to equality for woman, which unless there is a change on this perspective, we still need to be watching who may meet the anti-christ role and how.Is Obama doing something that can bring Judgement upon the U.S.? Yes, the pressure and determination that Obama is placing on Israel to give up more land in exchange for a peace process has shown (see previous journal entry) to result in events of judgement for going against God's interest, in addition to what he has already been promoting within the nation. his alliance with the Muslim nations who have sought to destroy Israel will present a problem for the U.S., as stated in the following scriptures Isaiah 54:15-16"Behold, they shall surely gather together, but not by me: whosoever shall gather together against thee shall fall for thy sake.""Behold, I have created the smith that bloweth the coals in the fire, and that bringeth forth an instrument for his work; and I have created the waster to destroy."What kind of Judgement? Hurricane... other natural disasters and infra-structure disruptions. Acts of Terror. Is America referenced in the scriptures? Consider Revelation 17:16, " And the ten horns which thou sawest upon the beast, these shall hate the whore, and shall make her desolate and naked, and shall eat her flesh, and burn her with fire." The term "whore" has been used in scripture to refer to spiritual infidelity, separation from God, and Israel was referenced as such during times when involved in idolatry. The interesting aspect to this chapter of Revelation is that it is talking about a city that in some fashion oversees the "kings of the nations", unless the U.N. moves someplace else, that place would be NYC, USA. As Israel was referred as such, "Whore" most commonly implied that "she" was committed to someone and then went to be with someone else in an activity of intimacy... as referenced above, the US has been in a commitment to be with God since it's formation. What about the Rapture? Types in shadow of being "raptured" do appear in both the Old (Tanah) & New Testament writtings, examples are Enoch & Elijah... Yeshua (Jesus) speaks of two in the field one taken and the other left behind, two in bed one taken the other left behind, Paul speaks about the "gathering in the air" first those who sleep in Christ and then those who are still alive and believe in the Lord. The book of Revelation speaks of an angel told not to harm the Barley, Wheat, Oil, and Wine as possible references to those that wil be part of the different "Harvest", those gathered at appointed times as is done during the different harvest of crops. Oil may very well be a reference to those individuals whom have been anointed with the Spirit of God, Ruach Hakodesh, as anointing with Oil was a symbol of having the Holy Spirit, examples King David, John the Baptist, Christ actually meaning anointed. Wine is also an interesting reference as Yeshua (Jesus) stated in the gospels that their would be new wine, a fore shadowing of this can be seen in the miracle at the wedding, recognized as Yeshua's first miracle. As to when these events may take place, there are various outlooks from at just before the beginning of the Seven year Tribulation period to the midpoint of the three and a half year time, to the very moment when Yeshua places His Feet back on the Mount of Olives... since with God all things are possible, it could very well be at all three (3) time periods depending upon the work He has established for you to do. Any Peace plan with Israel is to be watched, if it is broken at the time of 31/2 years (using biblical calendar of 360 days) it will be the midpoint of the tribulation period called Jacob's Trouble, and spoken of in Revelation. Stay close to God, keep His Commandments, Pray for the Peace of Jerusalem, and know that He loves His Children! The Lord's Peace be with you!
