The Days after

Good Morning
It's Monday morning and my Johnny has been for for 21 weeks.  It's seems a lifetime, and it seems like yesterday.  So far I've made it through his first birthday in heaven, his first Thanksgiving and Christmas too.  All I have left is New Years, Valentine's Day and our anniversary.  By that time I will be further in this journey.
I made it through Christmas and actually had a very nice time.  I went to the Gaylord in Dallas with my sister, my niece and her family.  At first I didn't want to go, but I made myself and when I got there I was so glad that I went.  There was some memories made with my wonderful great-nieces.
Slowly I am finding my own way.  I"m not all together but I"m finding it.
The day after I just cried.  I held my little dog in my arms and just let it out.  I find it so amazing that that little dog can bring me so much comfort.  She doesn't tell me I need to stop, she doesn't say I need to let him rest, or that I don't need to upset myself.  She just sits there and sometimes licks my tears.  I am so thankful for that.
These next few day I will contemplate the future.  God Bless you all
