The day my world crashed

I had just left my husband at my mom's house and had come to mine to do some laundry and prepare something for my son to eat.  I was outside on patio with my husband looking at my nephews playing and my husband and I were also talking.  While outside my sister came and asked if he wanted a salad and he said okey .  She brought to him and he eat it and commented that it was good.  I then went inside to remove some high blood pressure pill from his medications since he had complained that his pressure was running low.   He came inside and we started watching the Laker's game he then said is pressure was low.  I got him some crackers and gatorade.  He also got some fruits and jello.  He said he was feeling better and then he went to the table to have dinner which was a turkey sandwich.  He was trying to control his sugar.   I left him there about 8pm and got home by 8:20 and then the phone rang at 8:28 telling me that he is not feeling well and that they are calling the ambulance.  I rushed to my car and left to get there.  On the way my sister called me telling me it is not looking good.  I said I will be there shortly and to please get in touch with my kids so they are aware of what is happening.  I was driving about 80 miles an hour.  My sister called again and said he had threw up and it seems that he stop breathing and they had to rescusitate him and it was not looking good.  I told that was not true and she said that what I think happen.  I could not believe this was happening.  When I got to my mom the ambulance was there and he told me that I could not go with them and that I had to go the hospital and that I could not follow them.  I rushed to the hospital and when I got there they told us that they were working on him.  I later found out that he had been non responsive for 15 minutes and they had to rescusitate him again.  The doctor told us that the next 24-48 hours were very critical.  I cried all the time that I was there.  His family and friends all came by during the first 8 hours until the security was called because we were blocking the emergency entrance.  This was the beginning of our journey through this painful situation.  I cannot continue because it is so painful to remember what came next.  I will continue when I can.  At this time I feel like if I want to throw up my stomach is having this funny feeling.  I have to stop because I feel like if I cannot breathe.
