The dark (poem)

protect me this dark and fearful night,stop evil in its tracks, end its dark delights.Save me from creatures, Dont let them awaken,hold me close to you so I cant be taken.Surround me with light, send them back where they belongI think I hear screaming, but maybe im wrong.I hear them coming, they're longing to take meprotect me my goddess, oh please hear my plea,I hear someone b anging outside my door,My body is a wreck on my bedroom floor.Take out a candle let the flame ignite,and keep it burning until the morning light.
