The Corona Dramas
Last nights Netflix pick was Braveheart. Great movie but I hated the ending. Work continues here yet slow.
Last nights trip to the grocery store was good. Its amazing how much more quiet it is. Yesterday I went to pick up lunch and a woman made a server cry-they were out eating in their car right outside in the parking lot-the lady made a big fuss over not getting her plastic fork and made the server cry-clearly this server was overwhelmed with orders. I held my tongue. I wanted to tell the lady to go "Fork" herself. I asked the server if she was ok and she tearfully replied that she was. It amazes me how some people are so selfish when other people are suffering.
I hope the potential death rate is not as high as they say it will be and the next two weeks go by quickly. I think I am going to bite the bullet and subscribe to cable. The highlight of my day so far has been employer treating us to BLT sandwiches for breakfast.
I got up this morning and thought it was Friday-the days are merging together....

I really hate when people are shitty to service workers anyway, let alone during what is a hard time for everyone. I sometimes think people are like that because they feel so small and pathetic in their own life. It's their way feeling like a big deal and important.
It's weird. I've probably watched less TV since this whole COVID-19 thing than I did before. Not sure why that it is. I feel like I'm in organizing and cleaning mode so that has sort of taken over my "free time." I think too since I've been working from home, I'm working longer hours but also taking more breaks so it kind of evens out. But at 7:00 pm I'll find I'm reading emails when normally I wouldn't do that. Anyway, we are kind of being strategic with what we are watching now, trying to spread out our streaming so we can make it last through April. Funny how that is now how we roll, planning how to circumvent boredom. So far so good.
I do love a BLT, haha!

I went to walmart to pick up a few groceries and I noticed more and more people are wearing facemasks and service workers are wearing rubber gloves as well as cashiers and postal clerks.
I think it's important to keep the 6 foot social distance and treat everyone like they have the virus because someone can have it and not show any symptoms so they could be a carrier and not even know it. I guess it has an incubation period of up to 14 days..
When people are in fear it brings up alot of emotions....anger in some and sadness and depression in others....It's unfortunate but I also think it's all a part of our emotional growth.
No tv for me. I get all my news on you tube :)
