The Christmas Blues Returns.
Not sure why I am writing this. I suppose it is because I am still able to for the moment. Brain fog will roll in and I won't be able to do much.
Christmas finally seemed fun. The lights, the TV specials, the movies, and the music all seemed like I finally got the Christmas spirit this year. That was till today. The Christmas Blues strikes again. I pray one day the Christmas spirit will last throughout the Holidays. Another storm to wade out. Time to endure another obstacle. I should be used to it, but it isn't something one should get used to. I still fight on waiting for this storm to pass. Still I wish that any who might read this a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Thank you.

I find that I have to grasp and hold on to any moments of peace that I can get and be grateful for them. I understand how the obstacles of life always seem to get in the way and break that moment of peace. The good news is that moment of peace will return again and we can bask in the sunshine of it. Pain and sorrow teach us to enjoy the "good" days when we have them. I thank God you had that feeling of fun and enjoyment. Remember that feeling and know it will be coming back to you again soon. You will ride out this storm and once again see the sunshine and fun of life! God bless my friend.
Thank you for always the heartfelt encouragement and wise words. Greatly appreciated and respected. God Bless.
I'm sorry & praying for YOU .
I think ,I understand because I am disabled and I struggle all the time with the simplest things , But remember the sufferings on this earth can't compare to the glory we will experience in HEAVEN
I just read your journal entry about what Christmas was like for you. I could have written it myself. It was my second Christmas alone. The first didn't bother me but this one smacked me in the face. I kept looking at that little tree and being flooded with memories - some good and some very bad - and I really wanted to take the tree down and just put it away. But I didn't and that turned out to be a big mistake. The memories overwhelmed me so much that I woke up in the hospital one night having no idea how I had gotten there. That was when I was diagnosed with PTSD. I thought only soldiers got that - not Christian women who live very private lives. You also mentioned brain fog. Are you having medication issues or going through chemo?
Thank you for the Reply. My "brain fog" is from a work related head injury. Some days are worse then others. It is like everything is in slow motion, or behind a thick fog. The really thick days, I don't even remember. Not that I would be able to do much to remember. Still The Lord carries me on. You are in my prayers. God Bless.
