The Big Black Balloon

Just spent the last hour with a big black balloon. It flies up really high and works by absorbing infrared light which heats the gasses up. The instructions dumbed down the science of it a lot but it was still really fun to do. It doesn't seem like a really major thing but it was a lot of fun and it is nice to have fun again. We're going to set it up on the top pitches, tether it, then let it do as it will. It is going to be so funny because everyone will see it and it's going to be fun to do. It's the most fun I've had in ages. Still, just another day in my boarding house. We have done quite a lot of stupid and weird things before so this just numbers as one of them. The jackass mock wi did was the last thing that we did and that was funny too, if a bit painful. Anyway my thoughts are with the balloon and I really hope it goes well because it is just to much fun to go to waste. Team photos are later today, I wonder if I'll be able to see it from there, will it still be up? Anyway you might've guessed from the more upbeat tone of this entry but I am feeling better today. I just hope that it goes on for a while and that noone spoils this good time. I doubt that will happen though because so many people have ways of getting under my skin without even realising it. Anyway, viva el balón!!!
