The Beginning 01.01.16-05.04.16

Background:I started 2016 having trouble raising my left arm but ignored it thinking it was due to a fall I had back in October 2015. Two days later and I can't lift my right arm without pain. A week later and the pain has traveled to my hands and wrists. From there, the Reynauds began (I didn't know what it was called originally and it scared the crap out of me. Now its just a cool trick to scare my coworkers.) After about two weeks of not being able to move a muscle, I scheduled an appt with my primary care physician. The idiot figures its a pinched nerve or physical therapy issues, orders a C-spine MRI, and refers me to physical therapy. What a waste of time. Try doing physical therapy exercises without any of the meds we are currently taking. Long story a little bit shorter... I finally end up in rheumatology. At 27. Sitting in the waiting room with much older people. barely able to move. 14 tubes of blood and a few days later, I am put on Plaquenil and prednisone. The prednisone helps with the inflammation and finally some pain relief. It's short lived and all the pain returns back two weeks later. After another visit with the rheumatologist, he starts me on methotrexate. Great! Now I am on chemotherapy. Hello hair thinning! Update you soon...
