The Beginning

So here it starts. At nineteen years of age I have chronic pancreatitis. What happens now? How will this effect my life? What do I have to worry about or watch out for? This is all confusing for me as nobody has been able to answer these questions. The specialist that did my EUS wants to start me on Sandostatin LAR, which will cost me $1250 a month and I have no clue how I will react to it. I had no clue where to look for support or answers, until I found this web site. I hope  and pray that the people on here can help me through the bad times and share the good times with me. As much as i would love to say that I am not afraid . . . I am afraid.
