The Balloon Journey.

Today we celebrated Ken's birthday by going to his favorite place to eat Cracker Barrel....Then the ones who could be there went outside and I had bought balloons all colors of the rainbows and one Star Wars balloon....We all wrote something on the plain ones and went to the lake.  The wind was perfect for releasing balloons to Ken in Heaven.
We had the balloons on the long ribbons, we tried to position ourselves so the wind would take them high in the air and not hit any trees or lines or anything.  Brent of course kept saying, They are going to hit the tree....We kept saying No they will fly over the tree the wind is so good....Well, they went right into the tree!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So my grandson climbed the tree and still could not get them so Brent lifted Rylie up and and pulled the limb down...Now if you didn't know why we were doing this the people watching from their apartments across the Lake probably thought we had lost it.....But happily the limb came down low enough that Rylie was able to pull on the ribbons and not one balloon busted and out came the balloons from the tree......
Happy Happy were we all....So we moved a bit over and said here we go Ken here comes your birthday balloons....As they climbed so beautifully into the bright blue sky we are like oh no don't hit the sign please please don't hit the sign and just as smooth as could be they glided right by the sign as if they were on a mission.
They climbed higher and higher until finally we could only see a speck of the balloons...but they made them high in the sky way above the clouds farther than we could reach on their way to Heaven for Kenny's Birthday
