Interesting, both middle-eastern names...Is there a family or spiritual connection? Anyway, I digress, Alara is my pick of the two, lyrical without being too pretentious - I think Arya would be difficult for people to pronounce/spell etc and she would be driven crazy explaining all the time..Anyway, thats my pick....good luck and I\'m sure we\'ll all chime in with any suggestions as we ponder....love, light and peace

Of the two, I like Alara, but my most favorite name for a girl is Shelby Gabrielle. That is the name I will name my girl IF I ever decide to have children.

It\'s a good thing I checked out an earlier message saying you were having a GIRL. For a BOY, I was going to suggest Beauregard Throckmorton and for a girl...let\'s see. I agree with those who say by giving someone a name that\'s too hard to pronounce or spell correctly, you curse that child to a lifetime of correcting people!! How about Wilhelmina Elvira? JUST KIDDING.
