The Atheist and the Bear !
ATHEIST IN THE WOODS
An atheist was walking through the woods.'What majestic trees!'What powerful rivers!'What beautiful animals!He said to himself.As he was walking alongside the river, he heard a rustling in the bushes behind him..He turned to look. He saw a 7-foot grizzly bear charge towards him. He ran as fast as he could up the path. He looked over his shoulder & saw that the bear was closing in on him..He looked over his shoulder again, & the bear was even closer.He tripped & fell on the ground.He rolled over to pick himself up but saw that the bear was right on top of him, reaching for him with his left paw & raising his right paw to strike him. At that instant the Atheist cried out, 'Oh my God!'Time Stopped.The bear froze.The forest was silent.As a bright light shone upon the man, a voice came out of the sky.'You deny my existence for all these years, teach others I don't exist and even credit creation to cosmic accident.' 'Do you expect me to help you out of this predicament?Am I to count you as a believer?The atheist looked directly into the light, 'It would be hypocritical of me to suddenly ask you to treat me as a Christian now, but perhaps you could make the BEAR a Christian'?'Very well,' said the voice.The light went out. The sounds of the forest resumed. And the bear dropped his right paw, brought both paws together, bowed his head & spoke: 'Lord bless this food, which I am about to receive from thy bounty through Christ our Lord, Amen.'

Cute. I\'m athiest. Do you think that God could make my nursing instructor\'s Christian? .....I didn\'t think so. I\'m sure that you have to be a reject from hell to be an instructor....lol. Kidding...really.
Actually someone that\'s athiest would never think like that, someone that\'s Christian, but has issues would. And yeah, I\'ve been in situations where I doubted my life.....
Peace and Love to All. I\'ve never tried talking Anyone out of their beliefs, and never would.
It\'s my view, judging by my own experience, that most folks who say they are Athiests, are really agnostics. Even Christians have doubts at times, we just
take them to God.
Well, saying agnostic feels wishy-washy to me, and isn\'t a real expression of how I feel.
I don\'t know about most Christians, but I know quite a few who are totally committed to their faith, and truly LIVE it.
And then there are those who don\'t. They seem to say it, but don\'t live a life that I\'d consider anywhere Near Christian.
Just my 2 cents.
I\'d rather be honest, than sit in church (which I Loved), and swear that I believe that I believe something that I don\'t. If there is a God, I don\'t think that they\'d fall for that for one moment. And quite frankly, I couldn\'t live with myself. I have more integrity than that.
Your story makes a good point. I don\'t see how anyone could be an atheist after considering how all of Creation works so harmoniously such as the human body, animal kingdom , plants and their cycles rain, sun , moon , and stars, an so on. Only Only Almighty God could have created these and made them work so well together.
