The Art of Letting Go!

If I knew the answer to the art of letting go, I would be a very wealthy person.  Not only would people want to pay me for my wisdom but I would be sought after for advice on a daily basis.  Wouldn't it be nice to have all the answers.  If you could let go, you would have no problems.  At least that is a picture perfect scenario in my mind.  I equate my issues to wanting to be in control.  To needing to be in control.
At the end of the day the only thing we truly have control over is how we respond to any given situation.  Is there happiness, anger, sadness, or even worse indifference.  There is always some emotion and it is the one thing you can choose when you go through the day.
When you are a person that shows strength people will look to you and depend on you to make decisions and chooses for them.  That leads to a sense of control which is not really there.  It is just a sense.  Letting go and knowing that you are not in charge or in control can make a big difference in how the day is managed.  It makes a difference in how the stress level in your body responds as well.
Not really sure where I am going with this other than I need to work on my art of letting go and not needing to be in charge and making all the decisions.  It can be very lonely being in charge.
