You likely do not have to wait long to have an adventure where this option would be a good clinic, and you overlook, maybe for a day, week, month or more, as emotions run strong. Once you're calmer, you remember you did make that selection. You believe on this, perhaps admonish yourself for forgetting, which I don't recommend. I prefer a gentle reminder like,"Alright, I forgot to keep in mind that time; but eventually I will remember my choice."
