"...the answer to our prayers is LOSING...lose anger, ego, greed, depression, fear...by praying

..... ' what did you gain by regularly praying to God?'  The person replied, 'nothing ... but let me tell you what i lost:
Anger, ego, greed, depression, insecurity and fear of death.

Sometimes the answer to our prayers is not gaining, but losing
- which ultimately IS the gain."

What do you need to lose?

in a fog all day today.  went out for lunch with j, unexpected.  one of those buffets, which i do better now, lots of cold shrimp and mild hot sauce and lots of cantalope and then a little taste of other things.  the green beans are normally good but were spicy today.

went to the gourmet shop that sells to restaurants and got a big frozen thing of spanakopita, its greek spinach with feta in filo dough.  they also had lobster bisque which was EXCELLENT.  yay!

went to home depot for the mount for the bigger mail box and they don't have it, just like with the small one.  m said to buy blue tap cons instead to put it up.  its screws for concrete.  who knows.

stopped at the hope store and then rn's.  spent time looking at her photos.  like jmy she has TONS.  no one stole her's.  how nice for her.  would love to have mine, thanks.  the female dog is still in heat and driving her nuts and a still hasn't found a place.  now the mobile guy says JANUARY.  have seen this a lot with houses didn't know it was as bad with mobiles.

went to the hospital for more blood draw.  grrrr and the doctor.  so much of my free would be time is all doctor.  wth?  not used to this yet at all.  but getting really good at being at hospitals and doctors.  lol.  was never good at that before.  had my eye exam and they used drops.  i am 20/20 again in one eye and 20/60 in the other.  wth?  have to look it up.  have to return in 6 months because of a cataract.  he says, so young for that.  were you a boxer.  boxers have that from blows to the head.  hmmmm sounds like vendetta time.

Love your quote up there. It\'s so true! I try to live by that. If our whole Country prayed, I think this would be a much better place!!

You sure do eat some different kind of foods than us Northern folks! I remember eating more seafood when I lived in Florida! I LOVE shrimp. There was a place in Ft. Lauderdale dalled the Sea Shanty. On weekends the line to get in was down the block. People patiently waited their turn. LOVED the place.

Sorry about the hospitals and blood draw things. I\'m kinda used to it. Well, I don\'t know that anyone gets used to it, I\'ve just accepted it as part of my life. Let\'s pray about it! xo

I run around the city on the bus to get to my doctor\'s appointments, and then when Geo has to go to the doctor he drives us. My new health insurance covers rides, so I can at least not take the bus. *hugs* I hope you get good results from the labs.
