The anniversaary of Franks death-8/1/2008

Today it is 4 years that the phone rang and my other brother Stanley told me that Frank had died.I did not know that my older brother was in that sickly health but in his later years..Frank did not want me to take care of him so he checked into a nursing home on his own free will.In New York,if you have ssi and property..the home gets the deed to the house and puts a lien on it.When this happens, you can still live in the house..but you cannot sell it and if you did it can not be to relatives. It has to be approved by Medicare and they helped Stanley with a list of various lawyers who did help us,which they did.But when my house was sold,I wasnt there,I was out of my room and house since 1995 and I did not see or feel a thing.Frank wanted to save the house..but he could not afford it.He worked all of his life and wanted to retire in Florida but he could not.He did manage to travel here and there and even went to the Madri Gras. But 45 years ago.there were not IRAs and you were lucky if you got a pension. He did not make a lot of money in his life..but when he did..he helped my mother and he saw just how difficult my mother was and he regreted sometimes being mean to her.My brother was in the hospital on and off from January 2004 to May 2004 5 different times. He had a lot of problems and he knew it,but on July 18th,2004..Frank called me to say goodbye. He told me that he was going and to have a long happy life.He did not want me to suffer the way that I was doing with Brad and he told me to leave him when I could. The biggest hurt in my life and still to this day has been the death of my father. My father died 1 month after my 40th birthday and he did not life to see me get well over this mental illness that I have.I am Bi-Polar and was diagnosed 10 years ago and I feel so much better and I do realize now that my parents loved me.SInce I was a little girl from 1955 on,14 people that I have loved died and some met untimely deaths. My friend Laura whom I have never forgotten was coming home on a late night in New York City.It was just so different then and there was a rain storm that was approaching. It was the tail of a hurricane and everyone went home, but she had to stay and guess what? She did not make it.Laura was driving home late that night. It started to pour.It rained so much that they could not see the windshield and they were parked at the light.Out of nowhere came a semi-truck who made a turn. His brakes suddenly went and guess what? His truck plowed into Lauras. She was killed instantly and the others in the car were hurt. The trucker also was hurt and when he heard what happened..He did not know what to do.He tried to contact Lauras family but was greeted with disdain. It was just a tragic accident and it couldnt have been prevented. The police and court of NYC had an investigation. His job was on the line and later decided that he was not at fault ,that it was an accident because of the weather and he was never charged. This truck driver was not married after this..quit the job and the next day after he quit..he left his apartment and never went back.He left everything in that apartment and I think that he went back to the Carolinas. But in 1965...things were so different...there were no organizations around to help. There were no support groups at all. There was nothing. And when these Republicans knock the 1960s I want to tell everyone of these rich idiots to take a flying leap.Guilt was never dealth with at all.Never was depression. This man could have been helped and today even have a meeting with Lauras family.Frank tried to call the family when he was alive. They left NYC a long time ago and noone knows what has happened it is like they disappeared off the face of the earth. So everyoneplease I am telling you to talk what has happened.Do not keep it bottled up inside.Talk.It may save your life. Vader.
