The Flu

Our youngest grandson, 8 yrs, has been sick since the weekend. Monday the doctor said it was viral pneumonia and started him on meds. Our DIL has a terrible sinus infection. So they have been down all week. She is a little better but Josh has not responded well. High fever, headaches and the whole nine yards of symptoms. Back to the doctor did more tests and found that he has the flu. Not the H1N1 but still bad. Now more meds to treat that diagnosis. They are walking around with the lysol bottle in both hands. Trying to disinfect everything continuously.  We cannot go and help because we just do not need to get the flu. My hubby and I are only children and we have a friend that we have known for 52 years and we both think of as a sister. She has had numerous medical problems and has not responded well to being ill. I have talked to her several time in the last few weeks and have been very concerned about her.  Her husband called last night and she decided not to fight any longer. She tried to end her life.  She was in the ER when he called and he was not sure what was going to happen. We have not heard from them today. I would appreciate prayers for grandson, Josh and our friend, Dot.
