That Was A Date?
I have for a few weeks been trying to have this meeting with this man. He seems so evasive. He doesn't call me even though he has my phone number. He doesn't email me except for one line reply. Last night he wanted to meet. It was a night that I felt half-way decent. I asked he to meet me close to my home. He wanted me to go on his side of town. I got on the phone and told him that I could not drive that far in the dark. I told him straight out I had MS. He agreed to meet me on my side. He was there before I was at the restaurant. I think I was there on time. I had already eaten but he hadn't and brought his nephew with him. His nephew sat somewhere else as we talked. When he left his side on the booth to sit next to me, I knew this was not going to work out. He mention about meeting another woman with MS from this area. I thought that odd. He was a very hands on guy which I did not like. He was honest but I knew we would not be compatible. He called what we were doing a date. I thought it was a meeting. I had a glass of tea. It was very clear from the start what he expected in a relationship or dating. I would not go there. He told me the woman he met at same restaurant was me last year. I don't remember meeting him. I tried to look through old emails and can't find anything. How can I forget meeting someone. He said that woman was having a hard time.. could barely walk. And that was me. He wanted to follow me home to make sure I got there as he seemed genuinely concerned as I was starting to have problems. We talked in the car and then he kissed me. Is that the test of chemistry? Is it the attraction to the person that brings chemistry? He told me I should stop looking for Mr. Perfect. I told him that I wasn't but I was not going to be with someone I know it wouldn't work out. The kiss was a kiss. He was too aggressive. He was upset that I was not interested because he was really attracted to me. I was glad to get home. No, I will date or meet with him again. Gee.. I have already dated him before and didn’t want to again. Getting out last night was good for me. Even if it was with someone I dated before and can't remember.
