That\'s it
My wife and I talked last night and decided we are going to end it. Although its very early in the game, she is already talking about getting her share. I think that caught me by surprise, although it shouldn't. I would like her to stay in the house but she say's no. She wants her cut. It bothers me to think that the place that we and our family have called home for twenty five years will no longer exsist. She knows that she will get her fare share plus, but if she is going to take this route, I guess she will get only what's coming to her. I haven't been able to find a job and I have been trying so hard. I'm broke with no where to go. We have friends coming from Nova Scotia at the end of the week, so we are going to keep it under wrapps until they are gone. At least I have the reasons now for what is happening. She said that she doesn't blame me for my job ending 4 years ago and it was not my fault. In my job settlement they continued to pay me for 2 years, but if I had found another job that would be cut in half. I wanted to make sure they paid me the full amount, so I did no find a job for that time. She is very angry about that one. I am also being blamed of course for drinking everthing we had, but that is obviously not true, cause now we have to split the assetts. I so wish this wasn't happening. I asked a question about sobriety and divorce and I got the answer that some people, after beng in control so long can't give it up. That is so very true in my situation. I guess it is all my fault, I have to live with that for the rest of my life, but it's time to open a new chapter in my life. Yesterday is gone and I can't change that, It's time to move on and I really wish it wasn't.

Keith I am so sorry, this is happening! To spend that many years with this woman, there must have been love on both sides. It is sad to see this end, like this. Both of you must have seen wonderful things in each other when it began. If it must end could it be on friendlier terms. Enough hurting words and actions, don\'t you think, neither of you mean those aweful words, Really, it is just frustration! Hope you both can get past the pain. And whatever happens, let there peace!

Nobody wins in divorce. This will be the hardest thing you will probably ever go through in your life. The medical problems, depression, alcoholism-none of it will compare to the feelings you are about to encounter. Talk about a rollercoaster. Stay in touch with all the people who care about you, and vent-vent-vent. Not to your wife though, that will only cause more problems. Find people that are willing to listen without offering too much advice. If you try to hold everything in it will tear you up. Don\'t drink!
+My thoughts are with you. That is so sad. When a relationship comes to an end after such a long time it is painful. Hopefully you will remain friends. I truly believe that everything happens for a reason. If you are a good person then you will be happy again. Thinking of you.
Oh my dear friend...I am so very sorry to read this. Please remember it takes two to make or break a marriage. The fact that this is ending is not solely your fault. Please stay in touch and continue to journal. You have love and support here if you choose to receive it. Hugs, L
Hugs honey. I am so sorry you are going through all of this. Be careful. Mishka.
I am so very very sorry this has happened, please don\'t take on all the blame because no matter what it does take two people to participate, and I think you have done all that is possible to improve your life and make things better and work out with you wife.
As a good friend told me,when one door closes another opens and at this point anything could happen, you could change your minds when the reality sets in and it could be the best thing to happen, but either way its not going to be easy for either of you.
Your a wonderful person and I know things are going to work out for you in the best possible way even though it doesn\'t look like that now.
I understand how painful and sorrowfull this is for you, just know I am praying for you and keeping you in my thoughts.
