That must have been nice.
I'm out of xanax XR 2MG which I'm supposed to take three times a day. I went to the pharmacy MONDAY, a few days before I was out, to ask them to send the request to my doctor. Tuesday they hadn't received anything back. Wednesday I called my doc, Thursday the pharmacy still hadn't received anything, Friday I call my doc and get to talk to someone who says "We can't authorize it, it's been too long since you've been here." I say "I have an appointment on Monday. I just need enough to get through the weekend." (By now I'm out.) She says "I can give you enough to get you through til Monday." Good. I call the Pharmacy this morning - no authorization received. I'm not even sure when I stopped taking it cuz I fill out my pills at the beginning of the week and I've stopped checking when I toss them in my mouth. I think xanax makes me feel more energized. All I want to do now is sleep. And I've had 2 panic attacks in the last 3 days. I have some 1MG regular xanax, so I will use that in emergencies. But meanwhile I guess I'll just sleep.
So - when you say "I slept 12 hours last night." and someone answers "Oh, that must have been nice" somewhat longingly. That's one of the most annoying things. It wasn't nice. I'm still exhausted. I slept all that time away. I know for a healthy person 12 hours once in awhile is nice, but for someone with an auto-immune disorder and anxiety disorder, sleeping 12 hours doesn't rest you, and it's just ANNOYING. Thank you for letting me vent.
