That Light Has Been Restored
It is amazing how much different our outlook can be when clouds of problems hang and weigh us down.
I am so happy to report that my debt is finally gone. I have one more pymt I will deal with tomorrow (pay off loan from 401k so no more deductions from my skimpy pay)
I also have to elect same insurance coverage and figure the COBRA cost. I think I will basically be working to pay insurance premium.
All is still very good. I still have some issues that are popping up medically, but now it seems easier to focus and work with Dr suggestions to improve situations.
I am finally content, relieved and hopeful. Challenges are not overwhelming, but faceable. I look forward to decorating and the holidays and spending some time with the kids.
If late hubby were still around, I would tell him that light was NOT an oncoming train, but rather the sunshine and hope I expected.

Kim I know how it feels to get money and get out of debt....why do you need cobra insurance? I understand cobra as when you have no longer got the company that either provided the insurance or got fired....I guess you going to part time you lost them paying on your insurance? the down side is cobra is real expensive....but if you have to do that then do that but maybe check out the Insurance Marketplace of the Gov. from Obamacare? You might be surprised that they give you better rates and better coverage's too and I think right now that is open for starting 2023....
Bill you are right. I now have not enough hours for company to pay benefits. I thought of checking marketplace but worry as I hear some have trouble as not all doctors want to deal with them....plus my coverage is pretty good and I know what to expect.
get to an insurance broker.....my AA sponsor is an insurance broker.....I am on medicare and he switched me week or so ago to better plan than I have had a few years and all my doctors and stuff were put into his system online and my meds and stuff and he found a better plan....mine was not bad but this was top of the crop.....and the Aetna I had was third place....he said I should save $1400 yr with this new plan.....
insurance broker is not someone who works for one particular company but someone who represents all sorts of companies....I suggest doing that now....before you have to keep paying on the cobra....it might turn out your cobra plan is best but checking it is due diligence about your insurance....

Whatever frame of mind you are in right now....That prompted you to write such a positive post.....do all that you can to stay in that frame of mind no matter what happens! You have angels all around you doing good things for you behind the scenes but when you get in that self pity mind set, they can't help you because self pity is self serving! If you happen to slip and go back to that type of thinking, ask them to help you get through it and they will. I can guarantee it!
Think big! If you can dream it, you can have it because you are worthy!

So glad to hear you are in a good place. Having a few big burdens lifted or at least a path to resolution can be such a weight lifter. It allows us to let our guards down and just enjoy simple pleasures.
