Thanksgiving Eve reflections
This will be my first Thanksgiving as a non-smoker and I couldn't be happier!!!! My whole family will be going to my mom's house for dinner, I will go over early to help get everything ready plus I will have a turkey in the oven at home so we can have leftovers for a couple of days. My mom says she enjoys making the thanksgiving dinner every year (I have offered to do it) She makes it look so effortless but I know it is a lot of work and preparation. I am not looking forward to the day when I have to take over the job. That is the one holiday that my mom has always had. Gram used to have Christmas Eve and 4th of July parties now I do both of those. I was going to go to a friends house tonight for a little girls night out, but my hubby went to the neighbors garage party ( our neighbor built this huge two story garage that he calls the taj garage) guys night. Hubby doesn't get out much to relax so he deserves it. If I went out with the girls I would probably be regretting it tomorrow anyway so I am glad to be home. I am going shopping early Friday probably get up at about 4:30 and leave to shop by 5. I want to let you all know that this year I am thankful not only to be a non-smoker but to have met all of the great friends I have met here at ds, this is by far my best Thanksgiving ever and it is because of all of you that I feel that way. Have a great turkey day everyone!!!

This is an entry filled with so much love! I love it the \"taj garage\" LOL! It sounds as though you\'ll have a really nice time tomorrow. It is such an awesome feeling to sit down to the Thanksgiving Table smoke free, TG # 2 for me and feeling just as grateful as last year. I too am grateful for all my friends here, it\'s a special place and community we share at DS!
Peace!
Have a wonderful holiday Rinkpa and I too feel very blessed this year. I love all you huys here so much, like a real family and get more support from you all than I do my \'real\' family.... its all good. We all just have a built in understanding for each other and the battles we\'ve shared keep us strong. Have a wonderful day tomorrow- no diet concerns the rest of the week- we deserve to enjoy life to the fullest- smoke free!!!!!
