Thanksgiving DS Anniversary
I realized the other day that my one year anniversary date of joining DS falls on Thanksgiving this year, November 28. I can't help but think that is not a coincidence, since one of the things I'm most thankful for this year is DS. I joined this site at one of the lowest points in my struggle, where I was so depressed, alone and lost. I dreaded the holidays approaching and googled infertility support groups and DS popped up. Within a week, I felt like I found home. I was so welcomed, and I read about women's struggles and feelings so similar to my own and I realized I was not alone at all. I had just done my second IUI when I joined DS, and planning on doing IVF early in 2013 but I was so freaked out about IVF. I am not sure I could have even gone through with it had I not had the wonderful support of my DS sisters, and I credit you all with getting me to push through on some of my darkest days. 2013 has been a craptastic year, I won't lie. The highlight was the entire month of September - I found out I was pregnant on August 30th and miscarried on October 1st. But everything else pretty much sucked and it really hurts to know that exactly one year later, I'm no closer to being a Mom, and I'm still dreading the holidays, only this year even more so.
This Thanksgiving, I'm dedicating to my DS sisters and how extremely thankful I am for you all, and all of the connections and friends I treasure. From the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU!
Happy Thanksgiving and love to all xoxo

Oh honey, I just really wish you had to be thankful for so much more. You have been through so much this past year.
I always keep you close in my heart and really hope that the next one will be much easier on you.
xoxo
Happy Thanksgiving! I am so glad you were able to find support and strength through the ladies on this site, they really area wonderful. I hope 2014 brings you happiness in whichever way you decide to go on this journey :)
Thankful for DS friends like you. Here\'s to a better 2014.. may all our wishes come true. Happy Thanksgiving.
I wish more than anything the rest of 2013 was better to you. Lord knows you deserved it. So thankful for you and praying better times will come 2014!
I am also so thankful for my DS sisters, I would never have gotten through the last year without everyone! I am glad you found us too, I found DS shortly after you by doing the same thing and googling support groups. I know 2013 has sucked and I am hoping things turn around in 2014! Hope you have a Happy Thanksgiving!
I swear - I wish I was in NY and I wish we were friends and I wish I could take you to lunch and drink too much and I wish i could give you a great big hug!!!
Sending you all my love and strength!
Thankful for you and all of the other fantastic DS ladies!!! xoxoxo
I\'m so thankful to have met you and everyone else on here. I KNOW you\'ll get your miracle....even though I\'ve received two miracles, I also know what it\'s like to struggle.....struggle pretty badly also. big HUGS to you hun.....I know it\'s hard, but hang in there, I\'ll say some prayers that you ease through the holidays a little easier, and that your miracle comes very soon!! XOXO\'s.
Awe, you are so sweet. I agree that joining DS has definitley been a highlight to my year and has gotten me through some tough times. I really hope 2014 treats you better. Happy Thanksgiving!
I wish with all my heart that you would have had a baby, or been growing one, to be thankful for this year. I will never give up hope for you! 2014 will be your magical year, this is my holiday wish for you! And I am thankful for your love and support and kindness toward everyone, even as you faced your own heartaches. You are an example of how we can each have our own struggles, but still have love for others to spare. You are an inspirational woman, and a mighty example of strength under adversity. You are always cherished and loved here. Big hugs, hon!
You are so sweet. Yes I too think every holiday that passes that hopefully it is my last not as a mother. And every one that passes shocks me more. I appreciate you and every other woman I have connected with since joining this site. :) Happy holidays!!
Without you and all the other ladies I\'ve met here on DS I would be the crazy lady sitting in the corner talking to myself, lol. But seriously, I was so very loney before finding this site. We all share a common bond here and I want nothing more than for each of you to get your miracle baby/babies. I don\'t know what the future holds for you but I have seen alot of miracles on here and I have hope for you that someday your dream of being a mommy will come true. Lots of love to you. xoxo
Happy Thanksgiving to you. I am so thankful for you and your friendship. I don\'t know what we would all do without DS. I can\'t imagine having gone through all this alone, our DS friendships are so close and yet so many of us have yet to meet in person. I hope that this time next year you have more to be thankful for and have found peace. I am always here for you.
Thankful for you as well! Happy Thanksgiving!
I completely agree with you. This group has changed my life. I\'m so thankful for you and all of our DS dolls :)
And we are thankful for YOU. My heart breaks for the year that you have had. And I also feel some joy in my heart even for those few, far too fleeting weeks of pregnancy that you had. But what a sacred month ... when you knew you were pregnant.
It is so easy for me to tick off all the things I have hated about my own journey or how many relationships have soured in the process.
But lately I remind myself of the gifts that have also shone through. And you are at the top of my list.
I have wanted a friend for so long who I can have true, soulful conversations with (ugh...preposition). Not just chit chat or conversation that seems like it could start to border on something meaningful but never does due to an interruption or an intentional change in topic.
But the real thing :)
I\'ve enjoyed our recent conversations immensely.
And though the miles may separate us...our written words keep me feeling connected in heart.
I am so thankful for you.
A true gift. Thank you.
And I too am so thankful for the women on this site......I\'m so sad about what has brought us all together.......but it is love in our hearts (desires for children) that started us on our journeys. So it only makes sense that despite the pain and difficulty that so many of us encounter....that we have continued to be such caring, nurturing women. Only for now it is to each other. For support.
Hugs to you and to the others as well.
