Thanks To My Friends AT DS
I want to thank all of you for your thoughts and prayers for me, my brother, my family. It has been the hardest, longest, years since Dec 07,2009 but actually longer than that, but those details can be left out. How I have gotten through some of the things I have gone through especially Kenny's death, I don't know. I know that God is still surrounding me, but I feel things that I don't even know what I feel. So since that day Dec 30th, 2009 this is what I want to say today:
Little I knew that morning, God was going to call your name, in life we loved you dearly, in death we do the same. It broke our hearts to lose you you did not go alone for part of me went with you, the day God called you home.
You left us beautiful memories, your love is still our guide, and though we cannot see you, you are always by our side.
Our family chain is broken, and nothing seems the same, but as God calls us one by one the chain will like again. Unknown Author.
Kenny, today is Easter the day that Jesus arose, which I know you know in Heaven that is a day that is known. We will have our small celebrations, at church, at home with friends and family, but we know our celebration could not compare to your Heavenly home. As you are surrounded by our loved ones that are with you today. I hope each one of you will know, we miss and love you dearly, and wish you were not gone, there must have been a reason, and that reason we do not know, but you were my wonderful son and oh I love you so.
So while we do our little celebration here on this earth, just know we love you and know that you will be celebrating Jesus with Daddy, (your first) baby, Grandpa, Uncle Don. I really can see you all rejoicing, no more pain, no more tears. Happiness is what you all deserve and one day some we will be there too.
I love you, Kenny, Daddy, Grandpa, and Uncle Don, our grandbaby. Happy Easter to all in Heaven and thank you God and Son for giving us this day we know where are loved ones are and one day we will join the Heavenly Host and be together again.
