Thank you all for your prayers and kind comments. Storm appears to be pretty much past... still raining a bit and its wet all over... tropical storm then a category 1 hurricaine.. and then back to a tropical storm... to be honest so far it wasn't too bad at all... I kind of knock on wood because every year this is part of our weather system... thankfully much of the worst never happens... I was born in Oklahoma... tornados were our biggest scare... for me as a kid though... the time in the cellar has a lot of happy memories... It really tickles me because I doubt the adults were smiling at all but us kids were having a blast visiting with our friends and hearing all the adults laughing and talking... Hope everyone has a great weekend

Oh thank God it was,nt to bad for you. We have been watching the rain and storm all over in New Orlens , Mississipie, cotton crops ruined. in New Orlens all those poor peoplse homes just 7 yrs. after Katrina. So sad. I bet it was fun when you were little going into those cellars dark, candles I loved stuff like that; well I have to go dinner love mary ann
