I\'m sorry about the problem with your eyes, that is scary. I got soap in my eyes and I was walking around with my eyes feeling like I had a film over them, at the time I thought something serious was going on.. I didn\'t feel the soap burn so I didn\'t think of that until my bf mentioned if I got soap in them when I took a shower. I said No I didn\'t feel the soap in them. So I took my bottle of water and rinsed my eyes and ALL My GOD it burned when I put the water in them.. You know it took me about an hour to get the soap out, I just kept rinsing my eyes, every time I rinsed them I could see better and better, LOL.. I guess the soap dried on them that is probably why it took so long to get it out.
Of course I was in the worst part of my grieving process with Ryan, my mind wasn\'t clear then either, LOL.. I pray your eyes aren\'t to much of a problem Sandi, it is scary when it comes to your eyesight..

My prayers are with your friend who lost her son. It breaks my heart hearing about a new mom having to go through this excruciating pain, we never thought in a million years we would survive the loss of our child. My friend Lisa just joined DS ForMomsOnly a couple days ago, her only child. My heartache for her. She lost her daughter Emily March 16th, 6 months ago. Maybe we can introduce them to eachother. Lisa\'s screen name is \"Emmabemma\". I think the shock may be wearing off. Lisa and I have been bonding from her loss and me losing Ryan 7 years ago. I am a listener and she has been SO Strong and I think she is gonna need me more now..I have a feeling it is hitting her now b/c I know by experience when everyone disappears. It is us who has changed and we notice no- one is around anymore, We are Changed forever.. It is SO hard, I wanna be there for her..She is moving back to Hampton beach Oct 1st, so we will beable to walk and have dinner once in awhile. We are going to go to Bethany Church on Sunday\'s. This church is non denominations..This church is HUGH and they have grieving groups, All kinds of different groups.. I went to an Event there for the loss of a child. They had 3 awesome speakers, they told their stories about the loss of their children. They had Chaplins their to comfort us, they came up to us and brought us to the front of the pews and they stood all around me and each of them would pray for me and they all were praying together with different prayers, they put a shawl over my shouders as they were praying over me I had my eyes shut and the tears started flowing.. I told them thank you So much b/c I have a hard time crying and it felt so good and cleansing. See I was always afraid to cry thinking it would hurt me more, I had a deep FEAR to cry...until this event in church..I felt the presence of God, Jesus his son and the angel hovering over me it was the most incredible experience... I would love to have this experience with Lisa. My purpose in life is to help others of the loss of their child! Amem

Hi Sandi. I too hope your friend chooses to join us. I was reminded again how much I appreciate FMO. My classmates at the reunion just don\'t get it. The women were noticeably uncomfortable - I wanted to say \"Yes, my daughter died. You can say her name, you can talk about her. Yes, I may cry but that is okay. I will just be happy that you acknowledged her existence\".
I hope your eyes get better. I don\'t mind getting older, I just don\'t like the symptoms. My eye doctor says my bleary eyes and blurry vision are a mixture of tears and oils.
Take care of yourself.
Love and hugs,
Marlene
